Assembly was easy and instructions were straight-forward. We were missing one piece, the trim across the top. I called customer service and they immediately shipped the trim. The headboard looks nice and is sturdy.

This item looks great even up close but that is where that ends.
It is made up of cheap particle board and even though it is not wobbly once assembled it will not withstand a great deal of stress. It comes with instructions on how to attach it to your bed frame. If your kids like to jump on your bed, don’t attach your bed to it. It will fall apart with the first jump. The sections where your frame would attach to are extremely flimsy. If you think you’re going to move, it most likely will not withstand it. There are also no holes in the backing for cords, you will have to drill your own.
The instructions are great if you follow them very carefully and I do mean very carefully. If you’ve put this type of furniture together before, you will come across sections of the instructions that make absolutely no sense. They will make sense later. Be careful when putting it together. The cheap particle board is EXTREMELY heavy. One section slipped out of my hands and ended up slicing into my foot pretty good. There is also a section where you will have to hammer wood pegs into the underside of what will be the top (and very visible portion) of the headboard. If you get too over zealous with the hammering the pegs will easily pop out through the top leaving you with cracks and bumps in the laminate. One person can put it together but it would probably be much easier with two.
Why 4 stars for what seems to have been described as a cheap piece of crap? This piece of furniture is an amazing value for a mere $80 plus shipping.

This headboard does not fit the bed frame. I ordered the 12 drawer bed frame and head board. The frame is too wide to fit between the moldings on the front of the headboard. If you cut the molding, you will expose the unfinished edge and it will look like crap. If you have a standard metal bed frame, it might fit, I don’t know. But if you bought the 12 drawer frame, and probably the 6 drawer, it will not be wide enough.

I was very disappointed with the quality, the instructions for putting it together, and had many problems with missing pieces, incorrect pieces, and incorrect instructions. I base this on quality and value, and I would rather spend a little more than go through the frustration of putting this piece together. So, my advice to you is find another set for your use!
