Not big on this vacuum. We have had it for 3 years. I live in a small apartment with 2 kids and a long haired cat. It works ok. The dual clean edge never had any suction. It is very, very loud. I am already in the market for something better. Maybe I’ll try a Hoover.

Got this on super Friday from Kohl’s for $67(plus 10 off next purchase). Used it once. It works like charm. I was surprised with all the dirt it collected from my carpet. Really Really good for the price I paid. Worth every cent.

  3. I’ve had this vacuum for just over a year. It doesn’t pick up stuff, when it does it gets caught in any one of several places that require manual cleaning to dislodge the clumps of junk. The worst place is the hose directly behind the roller. It clogs easily and is difficult to disconnect then reconnect. This was quite possibly the worst vacuum I’ve ever bought.

This thing is wonderful! Has great suction and picks up stuff I did not even know was there. Love the on-board tools!

The 3 things I do not like: 1. Its pretty heavy. 2. The crevice tool is difficult to replace after you have finished using it. 3. The instructions for assembly are not at all clear.

Other than these, I am very happy with my choice.

I had an Oreck for years and thought it was doing a good job. I had gotten tired of the high prices for bags and constantly having to remove the roller to get the hair untangled from the edges.

I couldn’t believe it the first time I used the Bissell. The dirt cup was full after only doing half of the living room. It was half sand and half dog hair. It took a couple of weeks to get everything the Oreck left behind.

I have had it for a year and still love it. I haven’t had any of the problems with hair tangling around the roller that I did with the Oreck. My daughter used it when visiting and said she preferred it to her Kirby vacuum. It is light weight, easy to empty, and the accessories work great on furniture.
